Scanning Operations
If the optional printer controller is installed and a network is connected,
data scanned with this copier can be attached to electronic mail (e-mail)
and sent to a computer or Internet fax terminal through an intranet or the
Internet. In addition, scanned data can also be uploaded to an FTP server.
Function Descriptions
E-mail transmission
G
The scanned data is attached to e-mail as a TIFF-F, JPEG or PDF file,
then sent to a computer or Internet fax terminal through an intranet or
the Internet.
FTP transmission
G
The scanned data is uploaded to an FTP server as a TIFF-F, JPEG or
PDF file. In addition, if an e-mail address is specified, the specified
recipient can be notified by e-mail of the FTP transmission at the same
time that the data is uploaded to the FTP server.
HDD (hard disk drive) transmission
G
The scanned data is saved on the HDD (hard disk drive) as a TIFF-F,
JPEG or PDF file.
Internet faxing
G
The scanned data is sent to a computer or Internet fax terminal though
an intranet or the Internet as a TIFF-F file. In addition, an Internet fax
can be received.
