Original Settings

There are six original settings. Select the one that fits your need.
G Single-sided original ("1" setting)
Select this setting when only single-
sided sheet documents are being
copied.
G Double-sided original ("2" setting)
Select this setting when double-
sided sheet documents are being
copied.
G Books ("Book" parameter)
Select this setting when bound
documents, like books, are being
copied.
G Book separation ("Separation"
setting of the "Book" parameter)
Select these settings to make a
single-sided copy of each of the two
pages of an open book.
G Book spread ("Book Spread" setting
of the "Book" parameter)
Select these settings to make a
single-sided copy containing two
pages side-by-side from the two
pages of an open book.

Book-margin-erasing ("Book Erase"
function of the "Book" parameter)
Select these settings to erase the
area along the binding and around
the text from a copy made using the
"Separation" setting of the "Book"
parameter.
