Controlling Jobs

Description of Jobs

Job
Any set of consecutive operations, such as those for making copies,
scans or computer printouts
Multi-job feature
G
While one job is being printed, another job can be queued. As many
as 49 jobs can be queued.
G
When one job is finished being printed, the next queued job
automatically begins. However, touching [Increase Priority] moves the
specified job to the front of the queue so that it is printed next.
Queuing jobs
G
Specifying the desired copy settings, then pressing the [Start] key
queues the copy operation as a job.
H
The queued jobs are listed in the job display.
The jobs are printed starting with the one at the top of the list.
Jobs are listed with those having a higher priority for printing at the top.
Scan and computer print operations are also listed as jobs.
H
Jobs are numbered in the order that they are programmed and queued
for printing.
The job number identifies the job; it does not indicate the printing
order.
In addition, the job number does not change until the job is deleted.
