5-26 AltiWare OE System Installation & Administration Manual
Description
Sets the minimum length in seconds for any
recording (i.e., incoming voice mail message,
personal greeting, system prompts). This can be from
1–5 seconds, or 0, which means no minimum.
All recordings that are shorter than the designated
Minimum Recording length are deleted. This feature
is recommended when users receive many empty
voice mail messages on a regular basis and would
like them automatically deleted.
Selected, this feature causes the deletion of pauses in
messages. The default pause detect length is 500 ms.
The pause detect can be disabled by deselecting the
check box, or the length can be set to a value between
200–2000 ms (.2–2 seconds).
Description
Selected, this enables incoming and outgoing mail
services on AltiServ—Simple Mail Transfer
Protocol (SMTP) and Post Office Protocol (POP).
This check box option is activated and selected by
default if you enable the SMTP/POP E-Mail Service.
You can deselect this option if you don't want to use
the AltiWare E-Mail service for inbound mail; for
example when you're using another email server on
the AltiServ system.
