To Begin Upgrade

To complete the upgrade:
1. Make sure you have prepared for installation as described beginning
on page 3-2.
2. Install the System Key on the parallel or USB port.
Caution: Do not connect the system key to any AltiGen board as
damage may occur to the board or the system key.
3. Login to Windows 2000 as a domain or local user account that has
local administrator privileges.
If your machine is a stand-alone server, you need to login as a local
administrator account.
Note: If you plan to run Exchange Integration, you must have domain
administrator rights.
4. Insert the AltiWare OE CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
5. Select and read the Readme.txt file.
6. After reading the Readme.txt file, click on SETUP.EXE in the
AltiWare OE folder.
7. At the first upgrade installation window, click Yes.
