Soft Pick Setting
When you experience pick errors
from the separator roller slipping on
the paper, or paper jams from
scanning thin papers of small
widths, the symptom may be
improved by bringing down the pick
roller unit and keeping the unit at the
lower position (disabling the Soft
Pick Setting).
It can also be configured from the
operator panel.
AutoCrop
Specify whether or not to optimize
Boundary
(round up/down) the fractional part
of the scanned image data.
Auto color
Specify the slice level for automatic
Detection
color/monochrome detection.
Alarm setting
Specify whether or not to sound an
alarm when an error such as
multifeed or paper jam occurs.
It can also be configured from the
operator panel.
Jam Detection
Specify whether or not to judge the
outside of
symptom as paper jam when a
scannable area
document is skewed and passes
when transporting
outside the supported scanning
paper
area.
