Chapter 9 Operational Settings

Description
Multifeed
Specify a method for multifeed
detection. Detect by monitoring the
overlapping, the document length,
or the combination of both.
It can also be configured from the
scanner driver's setup dialog box.
Note that priority is given to the
scanner driver setting.
Multifeed detection
Specify this item to enable multifeed
when scanning in
detection during manual feeding.

Page Edge Filler
Specify a width for the margin off the
(ADF)
edge of the scanned image to fill in
black or white.
The margins are filled in white when
the background is white, and filled in
black when the background is black.
It can also be configured from the
scanner driver's setup dialog box.
Note that the priority is given to the
setting with a larger value.
Dropout color
Select a color to be dropped out
from the scanned image (black &
white/grayscale only).
It can also be configured from the
scanner driver's setup dialog box.
Note that priority is given to the
scanner driver setting.
