Installing Options
Installing the 1394 Interface Unit
A
Check the contents of the box for
the following items:
• 1394 Interface Unit
• 1394 interface cable (6 pin x 4
2
pin)
• 1394 interface cable (6 pin x 6
pin)
• Installation Guide

Be sure to check the following
points:
• The power switch is turned off.
• The power cord is unplugged
from the wall outlet.
• The interface cable is un-
plugged from the printer.
Note
If the Duplex Unit is not in-
stalled, go to step D.

If the Duplex Unit is installed,
push down the lever on right side
(A A A A ) and pull it out until the Du-
plex Unit stops (B B B B ).

Use a coin to remove the two
screws.

These screws are used again in

Pull out the handle of the control-
ler board.
