Verify that the leveling feet are long enough to lower to the floor. Leveling feet
that function solely as pallet bolt supports may need to be replaced with longer
versions. For safety, have one person tilt the cabinet while a second person
switches the feet.

Optional. For ease of installation, remove the rack side panels, especially the
panel on the side nearest the BladeUPS Bar.

Plan where each cabinet will be located in the rack and determine the "U" marks
to use for mounting the rails. For example, for a rack containing six UPSs and a
bottom wireway, plan to mount the bottom of the rails at the following marks
(see Figure 29):
