Adding a logical entity

You can add logical nodes from the Services nodes menu option. Logical nodes
comprise of one or more physical nodes, enabling you to define more than one
physical node to associate parameters with a specific physical node.
You can associate parameters with a specific physical node. For example, an
administrator can provision one physical gateway but want to route to different
trunk groups owned by this gateway. To accomplish this, the administrator must
create a logical node for each trunk group by selecting the physical node and then
associating a 'norteltrkgrp' parameter with it.
You can also define more than one physical node as part of the logical node
definition.

Tip: When a logical entity is added, it can be assigned to root domains.
The domain can use the node to create gateway routes, Emergency
Response Locations (ERLs), or Assign to Routable Services, only after a
domain is assigned to a node.
Select Service nodes > Add Logical Entity.
The Add Logical Entity page appears.
Enter a name for the logical entity in the Logical Entity field. A logical entity
name cannot be more than 30 characters in length and can contain only letters,
numbers, and specific symbols.
