Foreign domains

Foreign domains do not have a visible association with the Location
Infrastructure, but they are integrated into the Location Infrastructure internally
through the automatic creation of the default other location for each Foreign
Domain.
The foreign domain other location is limited in that it cannot be provisioned as an
ERL. Consequently, emergency calls from foreign domains are not supported by
this feature.
NN42020-105 MCS 5100 Release 4.0 Standard 01.06 November 2007
Select the default value of None. Use Orig in the Profile Override field to
continue using the profile of the originating subscribers domain.
Note: The Profile Override parameter allows an administrator to
associate a CS1000 profile to an ERL, thereby simplifying routing on the
MCS Session Manager. The drop-down list displays all CS1000 profiles
available in the root domain and subdomains. This parameter applies only
when routing to CS1000 gateway routes that require a different profile.
Select the time from the drop-down list of the ANI Registration Time
parameter.
Note: The ANI Registration Time parameter allows an administrator to
configure the amount of time an enterprise call back number is bound to
the originating E911 subscriber. This parameter applies to enterprise
ERLs only.
Click Save ERL to save your changes or Delete ERL to delete your changes.
