Provisioning a SIP-based voice-mail server

You can provision a SIP-based voice-mail server, which permits you to configure
the Session Manager so that the Session Manager communicates with a
voice-mail server using the SIP protocol.
The Session Manager is given information about what to query to find the location
of the voice-mail server. The Session Manager uses this information to send SIP
calls to the voice-mail server when calls are routed to voice mail.
