Requirements

electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding strap
Action
Power down the server, unplug all peripheral devices and Ethernet
cables, and disconnect the AC power. Ensure all cables are labeled.
Attach the ESD strap to your wrist and attach the other end to a
known grounded connection.
Remove the chassis cover. Refer to
server cover" (page 75)
Disconnect the red power cable from the PCI riser assembly.
Disconnect the DS30X cable from the MPB96 card in the full-size
side of the PCI riser.
DS30X cables for high capacity
Note: If you have the high capacity configuration with three
MPB96 cards, label each cable with the MPB96 slot number
before disconnecting them. Incorrectly connected MPB96 cards
do not answer calls.
Disconnect the SCSI cable attached to the RAID card.
