To start or stop a component

Note: If you want to start or stop more than one or two multimedia
(DSP) or call (DS30X) channels, use the Multimedia Monitor or Channel
Monitor.
Action
Run CallPilot Manager and log on.
In CallPilot Manager, click Maintenance > Maintenance Admin.
Result: The Maintenance screen appears.
Click the plus sign (+) beside the CallPilot server to expand the
component tree.
Continue clicking the plus signs (+) until the component you want to
work with is visible.
Click the hardware component that you want to start or stop.
Result: The Maintenance screen refreshes to show details about
the component.
Scroll down to the Maintenance section.
Click Courtesy Stop or Start as required.

If the selected component is out of service, click this
button to put it into service.

Effect of stopping
Takes all call processing resources
out of service.
Takes all call processing resources on
the selected board out of service.
You cannot perform maintenance
administration on the time switch.
Takes the selected multimedia
channel out of service.
Takes the selected DS30X channel
out of service.
Takes the selected DS30X link out of
service.
