Battery is required for the backup of the non-volatile
data and the real-time clock (RTC) of the device.
.batteryexisting can be used to query whether a battery
is available.
The non-volatile data and the real-time clock (RTC) are
backed up via SuperCap. A battery can be used as an
option to extend the backup time. .batteryexisting can
be used to query whether a battery is available.
