Configuring TCP/IP Properties Manually

To manually enter the TCP/IP configuration information for your PC in the Network Properties
Window:
Select TCP/IP.
1.
Click on Properties.
2.
Select the IP Address tab.
3.
Click on Specify an IP address.
4.
Enter the Host IP address and subnet mask provided by your network administrator

or by your Internet service provider (ISP).
Note: Do not click on OK. Continue with the instructions.
Select the Gateway tab.
6.
Enter the Router IP address provided by your network administrator or by your ISP.
7.
Remember to use the Add button for each address.
Click on Add.
8.
Note: Do not click on OK. Continue with the instructions.
Select the DNS Configuration tab.
9.
Click on Enable DNS.
10.
Enter the host name and the domain name provided by your network administrator

or by your ISP.
Enter any DNS server addresses provided by your network administrator or by your
12.
ISP.
Click on OK for TCP/IP properties.
13.
Click on OK for Network Configuration.
14.
Reboot the PC when prompted.
