Analog Input Delay Tab

The Delay tab accesses the channel's alignment delay, used to adjust the arrival time of a source via the
sound system to its acoustical origin. This delay is adjustable from 0 to 150 ms for input channels and 0 to
700 ms for output channels and is adjustable in 0.5 ms steps via touch and spin. The delay time is also shown
in distance units based on the unit of measure and temperature setting in Setup>General. The delay dis-
tance is calculated using the following formula.
Use the DELAY ON button to enable/disable the channel delay. This is the same adjustment made in the
Input Delay block of the Channel>Overview screen.

Analog Input Delay Edit Menu

The Input Delay's Edit menu has the following items:

• Save Delay Preset As — Saves the current delay settings with a user-supplied name
• Load Delay Preset — Loads a previously saved preset
• Reset Delay — Resets the delay to its default state
• Copy — Copies the entire channel settings to the clipboard
• Paste — Pastes the clipboard delay settings to the input delay
