4.1

The Front Panel Connections

These connectors are located at the front edge of the console, on the right side. They are slightly recessed.
USB — Two USB type A connectors are used for keyboard, mouse, and USB flash drive back-up and loading.
You can use the keyboard for channel naming and other places where the system keyboard or numeric key-
pad popups appear. The mouse can point to anything you can point at with your finger. It mirrors the touch
in Touch and Spin.
If you need more USB ports, use a USB hub, which you can find at nearly any computer store.
The headphone outputs A and B are accessible via two ¼ inch TRS connectors for stereo playback on head-
phones. The headphone signal is a mix of the LR solo bus with the C/Mono solo bus center panned. This is
the same mix as found on the Monitor Outputs (see Section 4.2.3 for details).
