Aux/Groups RTA 31 Tab

In addition to the four-band parametric equalizer found in the input channels, the Aux/Group sends have
a 31-band ISO-center graphic equalizer combined with an integral Smaart Real Time analyzer. The equal-
izer can be operated directly from the touchscreen (Touch and Spin) or it can be divided into four groups of
bands and moved (temporarily) to the eight VCA master faders for control.
Click or touch the Graphic Equalizer to open the RTA 31 tab (or touch the RTA 31 tab at the top of the
screen). The top half of the screen is reserved for the Smaart Real-Time Analyzer. The Smaart RTA is de-
scribed in more detail in Section 12.6 and in the Smaart User Guide.
The bottom half of the screen displays the 31-band graphic EQ. Touch the buttons along the bottom of the
screen to assign groups of eight EQ bands to the eight VCA master faders. The windows just above the 31-
band EQ display the selected band's frequency and gain (±12 dB), and on the other side of the EQUALIZER IN
button is the EQ Gain Trim control, which allows you to apply ±12 dB overall gain to the EQ output.

The Graphic Equalizer's Edit menu has the following commands:

• Save RTA31 Preset As — Saves the current equalizer settings under a user-specified name.
• Load RTA31 Preset — Loads a previously saved equalizer preset.
• Reset RTA31 — Resets the equalizer to its all-flat setting.
• Copy — Copy the channel settings to the clipboard.
• Paste — Paste the RTA 31 settings from the clipboard.
