Monitor

This is the engineer's monitor section of the console where the engineer controls what they hear through
the monitor and phones outputs. The following controls are available:
• Monitor Delay — Sets the 0-700 ms delay for the monitor speakers and headphones to allow time align-
ment with audio arriving acoustically from the main FOH speakers. Like other delay screens, this control
displays in both time and distance units and is adjustable in 0.5 ms (6.6-inches) steps.
• Solo Level — A knob and readout matching the setting of the control located on the control surface. This
control adjusts the level of any source that has been soloed. It has a range of –15 dB to +15 dB.
• AFL/PFL — These two radio buttons duplicate the functionality of the PFL button located on the control
surface. The AFL button selects After-Fader Listen; the signal source for any soloed channel is after the fader
and pan control. The PFL button selects Pre-Fader Listen; the signal source for any soloed channel is before
the fader and before the channel mute switch. See "Solo Routing" (Section 5.2.1) for more information.
