EAW UMX.96 Owner's Manual
The system processor has two modes, standard and advanced, which present the routing and crossover
information in two different views. You can toggle back and forth between them without affecting audio
processing in anyway.
• Standard Routing View shows the three input signals (A, B, C) routed to any of the 12 outputs in any com-
bination. You route signals by touching or clicking source and destination buttons on the touchscreen.
The crossover function acts like a traditional crossover unit and has similar controls.
• Advanced Routing View shows the three input signals (A, B, C) and their input EQ and delay processing,
but each of the 12 output processors has a selection window allowing the choice of not only the three
speaker processor inputs but any output signal on the console. The crossover function is different from a
traditional crossover in that each band has adjustable high-pass and low-pass filters and it is the settings
of these filters that determines the passband for each output.
System Processor presets for input legs, outputs legs, and the entire processor can be saved and loaded.
Learn more about the System Processor in Section 12.5.
