Pre-DSP Level Meter

The meter displays the signal in the digital domain after the input delay but
before the pre-DSP insert. Normally, the analog input pre-DSP level meter shows
the same signal as the meter found on the channel strip of the console, but with
higher resolution. The console input meter point can be reconfigured to show a
post-DSP point if desired in Setup>General (see Section 12.10.2).
Stereo channels display a 2-channel meter. The OL LED indicates clipping at the
analog-to-digital converter.

Insert Pre EDIT Button

The Insert Pre is a digital insert point located ahead of the TRIM control. You can insert
NYI
hardware devices as configured in the Routing>Insert Routing page. Touching the EDIT
button accesses the Inserts screen, the same as touching the Inserts tab. The readout
below the button displays the name of the selected insert device.

Trim Control

The Trim control sets the ±15 dB digital gain trim with Touch and Spin. The digital trim con-
trol is located ahead of all of the channel's digital signal processing. All inputs have a digital
trim control. The readout below the knob displays the actual trim setting.

12.2.4.10 HPF IN Button

The HPF IN button engages the channel's high-pass filter. Set the HPF frequency via the
Equalizer tab.

12.2.4.11 LPF IN Button

The LPF IN button engages the channel's low-pass filter. Set the LPF frequency via the Equal-
izer tab.

12.2.4.12 Gate / Comp / EQ Displays and Buttons

The three IN buttons enable the channel's Gate, Com-
pressor, and EQ. The small displays show a miniature
view of the Gate/Comp transfer curves and the EQ graph.
You can adjust the processors via the EQ or Dynamics
tabs at the top of the touchscreen or by touching the
screens below the Mute Groups or VCA Groups buttons.
Between the Compressor and the EQ IN buttons is a
double-ended arrow button. This button swaps the order
of the equalizer and compressor in the signal path, allowing you to compress before or after the EQ. Each
press of the button changes the order.

12.2.4.13 Insert Post EDIT Button

Like the Insert Pre, the Insert Post is a digital insert point. However this insert is
NYI
located after the channel's DSP. You can insert hardware devices as configured
in the Routing>Insert Routing page. Touching the EDIT button accesses the
Inserts screen, the same as touching the Inserts tab. The readout below the but-
ton displays the name of the selected insert device.
