TROUBLESHOOTING
LIGHTING COIL
TEST
operate the starter motor. A starter relay carries the heavy
electrical current to the motor. Depressing the starter
switch allows current to flow through the relay coil. The
relay contacts close and allow current to flow from the
battery through the relay to the starter motor.

Troubleshooting
Before troubleshooting the starting circuit, make sure:
