3. Slowly apply the brake lever several times. Hold the
lever in the applied position and open the bleeder valves

brake fluid enters the system, the level will drop in the
master cylinder reservoir. Maintain the level at about

4. Continue to pump the lever and fill the reservoir until

6. If necessary, add fluid to correct the level in the master
cylinder reservoir. It must be above the level line.
7. Install the cover and tighten the screws.
8. Test the feel of the brake lever. It should feel firm and
offer the same resistance each time it is operated. If it feels

the system. After bleeding all air from the system and
making sure the brake fluid level is correct in the reser-
voir, double-check for leaks and tighten all fittings and
connections.
Before operating the snowmobile, make cer-
tain that the brake is working correctly by
operating the lever several times. Then per-
form a slow test ride to make sure the brake
i s working correctly.
