Troubleshooting
Refer to Chapter Two.
Flywheel
The flywheel must be removed to service the stator
coils. Flywheel replacement is usually necessary only if
the magnets have been damaged by mechanical heat or
shock.
Refer to Figure 6 when performing the following pro-
cedure.
NOTE
The following procedure is shown with the
various engine assemblies removed for clar-
ity. It is not necessary to remove the engine
from the frame to remove the flywheel.
1. Remove the recoil starter as described in Chapter N' me.
