Vacuum hose
A hose from the oil injection pump routes oil to the fuel
pump where it is mixed with fuel from the fuel
1. Open the hood.
3. Label the hoses at the pump (Figure

the pump. Plug the hoses to prevent fuei leakage or con-
tamination.
5. Remove the nuts holding the fuel pump to the frame
and remove the fuel pump.
7. Installation is the reverse of the preceding steps. Re-
connect the hoses according to the identification marks
made before disassembly.
Inspection
1. Connect hoses to the carburetor outlets on the fuel
pump and route the hoses into a container.
