INSTALLATION OF OEM SPECIFIC SPLASH SCREENS

1. Turn off the system.
2. Hold the ENT key on the replaced display and restore power by closing the applicable circuit
breaker (power only the replaced unit).
3. When the words INITIALIZING SYSTEM appear in the upper left corner of the display, release
the ENT key.
4. When the "DO YOU WANT TO UPDATE SYSTEM FILES?" prompt appears, press the NO
softkey.
5. When the "DO YOU WANT TO UPDATE SPLASHSCREEN" prompt appears, press the YES
softkey (This is optional and may not be displayed).
6. Press any key to confirm update completion after the splashscreen has finished loading.

10.10 TAWS CONFIGURATION

1. Insert the TAWS Enable card into the top card slot of the PFD.
2. While holding the ENT key on PFD, apply power by closing the PFD circuit breaker.
3. When the words 'INITIALIZING SYSTEM' appear in the upper left corner of the PFD, release
the ENT key.
4. Turn the MFD on in the same manner.
5. On the PFD go to the CONFIGURATION UPLOAD page using the FMS knob.
6. Activate the cursor and highlight the Enable TAWS file in the FILE field.
7. Press the ENT key.
8. Highlight AIRFRAME in the SECTION field.
9. Press the LOAD softkey.
10. Select YES and press the ENT key to acknowledge the following prompt:
