MANIFEST – GMA1 software
mismatch. Communication
Halted.
GMA1 SERVICE – GMA1
needs service. Return unit for
repair.
GMA1 FAIL – GMA 1 is
inoperative.
GMA1 CONFIG – GMA1
configuration error. Config
service req'd.

Cause
The system has detected
an incorrect software
version loaded in GMA
1347.
The system has
determined GMA 1347
needs service.
The system has detected
a failure in GMA 1347.
The system has detected
a GMA 1347 configuration
mismatch.
Solutions
•
Load correct software version.
•
Replace GMA 1347.
•
Ensure 1347 is receiving power.
•
Ensure both GIAs are receiving
power.
•
Ensure all GDUs are receiving
power.
•
Ensure the 1347/GIA RS-232 data
lines are working properly.
•
Ensure the GIA/GDU Ethernet data
lines are working properly.
•
Replace 1347.
•
Load 1347 configuration files, see
Section 7.
•
Replace GMA 1347.
•
If problem persists, replace master
configuration module, check config
module wiring for faults and replace
if necessary.
NOTE
New Terrain/Obstacle cards,
Jeppesen Aviation Database and
other optional features (i.e. TAWS
card) will need to be replaced if the
master configuration module is
changed. The System ID number
will change to a new number when
installing a new master config
module. The old Terrain and other
cards will no longer work as they will
remain locked to the old System ID
number.
