Check the power cord connection
1. Install all unit covers with only the paper transfer unit removed.
2. Turn on the main power switch.
3. Set SP1-108 (Select presence/absence of fusing unit) to
"None" (0).
4. Open the front cover, remove the fusing unit, and close the
front cover.
5. Start developer setup in SP2-225 mode.
- SP2-225-1 when replacing only developer for color K.
- SP2-225-5 when replacing developer for all colors.
6. You can perform PM operations on the fusing and paper
transfer units while the developer setup process is in progress.
7. When developer setup is completed, check the results in SP3
-964 mode.
1. Clean the upper thermistor with a suitable solvent apply silicon
oil on the contact surface.
2. Replace the pressure roller pad (Europe/Asia model only).
3. Wipe the fusing cleaning roller with a dry cloth, or clean it with
a suitable solvent.
4. Wipe the heat isolating bushing with a dry cloth, then apply
grease (Varrierta JFE552).
5. Replace the hot roller.
6. Wipe the entrance guide plates (upper and lower) with a dry
cloth (be sure to clean them every visit).
7. Replace oil supply pad.
8. Wipe the cleaning roller scraper with a dry cloth or clean it
with a suitable solvent).
9. Replenish silicone oil (check every visit).

- Clean pressure cleaning roller with a dry cloth (US model only)
- Replace the pressure roller blade (Europe/Asia model only)
- Clean lower thermistor with a suitabel solvent silicon oil on the contact surface
- Replace pressure roller
- Wipe the fusing unit bottom frame with a dry cloth (Europe/Asia model only)
- Replace hot roller blade

1. Check the results in SP3-964 mode, then turn off the main
switch (turning off main power resets the fusing-less mode).
2. Install the fusing and paper transfer units.
3. Turn on the main switch again.
1. Replace the transfer roller blade.
2. Wipe the paper discharge corona casing with a dry cloth.
3. Replace the paper discharge corona wire.
4. Wipe the toner collection case with a dry cloth.
5. Replace the lubricant bar.
