3-4. Drum Entrance Side Block

1. Put the Unit into the Unthreading End Mode (Refer to step 2 in Section 3-1-3.)

2. Remove the S Tension Regulator Assembly

3. Install the S Tension Regulator Assembly

Adjustment after Replacement

4. Adjust the Tape Running (Refer to Section 5-3.)

The component parts of the S tension regulator assembly are adjusted precisely in

the factory, then replace the whole assembly (A-8277-408-) in the field.

. Cleaning cloth:3-184-527-01

. Cleaning fluid: 9-919-573-01

1. Turn the power off.

2. Remove the upper lid. (Refer to Section 1-1-1.)

3. Remove the plate MD. (Refer to Section 1-1-1.)

4. Remove the cassette compartment. (Refer to Section 1-1-2.)

5. Remove the MA-83 board and the DR-327 board. (Refer to Section 1-8.)
