6-2. Command Description

A command that is available in the terminal emulator software of the PC can be used to send all data in
one file to the RS-232C port. For more details, refer to the manual of the terminal emulator software.
a) Download into SCSI CPU (Download command No. 1)
Downloads all the firmware of a SCSI CPU into memory via RS-232C port and writes it in flash memory.
b) Download into SYS CPU (Download command No. 2)
Downloads all the firmware of a SYS CPU into memory via RS-232C port and writes it in flash memory.
c) Download into SV CPU (Download command No. 3)
Downloads all the firmware of a SV CPU into memory via RS-232C port and writes it in flash memory.
d) Download into IF CPU (Download command No. 4)
Downloads all the firmware of a IF CPU into memory via RS-232C port and writes it in flash memory.
e) Downloads from the tape (Download command No. 99)
Reads the firmware from the download tape written with the CPU firmware and writes in the flash
memory. (Refer to Appendix A)
