18-17. Detection of a New Transfer Belt Unit
• A new Transfer Belt Unit is detected when it is mounted.
Transfer Belt Unit
• When a new unit is detected, the copier performs the Transfer Belt initial operation
sequence, ATVC, and image stabilization sequence.
• It automatically resets the corresponding counter (of "Life" under "Tech. Rep. Mode").

19. MAIN ERASE LAMP

• The Main Erase Lamp LED illuminates the surface of the PC Drum to neutralize any
residual charge left thereon.
