Fusing Web Near Empty and Empty Detection
1. Fusing Web Near Empty
• A web near-empty condition is detected if either of the following two events, whichever
occurs earlier, occurs.
Detection Timing
• The Master Board detects a web near-empty condition when the Near-Empty Lever con-
tacts the Web Roller.

2. Fusing Web Empty
• A web empty condition is detected when a given number of copies are made after a
near-empty condition has been detected.
A given number of copies Corresponds to "1,000" on "Fusing Web Unit" counter

New Fusing-Related Parts Detection
• The copier detects a new Fusing Unit, Web, and Oil Coating Roller.

• The corresponding counter (of "Life" under "Tech. Rep. Mode") is automatically reset.
"Life" of "Tech. Rep. Mode":
"Fusing Web Unit" counter reads 16,000.
