(18) Winding of the Scanner Drive Cables

11. Remove the Scanner Drive Gear, pulleys and
bushings at the front and rear, and the shaft.

1. Position the round bead of the Scanner Drive
Cable in the pulley as shown.
NOTE
• Make sure that the bead snugly rests in the slit in
the pulley.

2. Wind the fixed bead end of the cable around the
pulley five turns clockwise, from the rear toward
the front side.
