Removing the valves

Position the camshafts.
The valves are not activated.
Insert the Plastigauge clearance gauge in area
Plastigauge measuring strips (60029012000) (

Ensure that the dowel pins are seated properly.
Do not turn the camshaft.

Remove camshaft bearing bridge
gauge with the specifications on the packaging.

The width of the Plastigauge clearance gauge is a measure of the bearing
play.
Take off the camshafts and clean the parts.
Remove screw plugs
Screw appropriate screw
Hold cam levers

If the cam levers will continue to be used, note down their installation posi-
tion.
Take the shims from the valve spring retainers and put them aside corresponding to
their installation position.
