• Altitude calibration
The Altimeter mode of this watch calculates altitude based on atmospheric
pressure. Measurement error may result, therefore, if atmospheric pressure
and temperature change due to weather change or any other reason. Before
using the Altimeter mode or turning on the Field Mode REC function, calibrate
the Altimeter at a place with a known altitude. Altitude information can be
obtained from a map, the Internet, and other sources.
• Drift Cancel function
Even while you stay at the same place, altitude measurements may vary due
to change in atmospheric pressure. The Drift Cancel function prevents the
Altimeter from being affected by such atmospheric pressure change.
