(1) How to use 3D REC function
1) To set maximum recording time (measurement interval)
Following two types of recording methods are available for the 3D REC function depending
on the maximum recording time.
・3D SHORT REC
Altitude measurement is made at 2 second intervals up to 15, 30 or 60 minutes.
・3D LONG REC
Altitude measurement is made at 30 second intervals up to 12 hours. During measurement,
automatic synchronization via Bluetooth is performed every 30 minutes to transmit the data obtained.
※Set the maximum recording time in the application. By pressing and holding Button Ⓕ to perform
Bluetooth communication, the settings made in the application take effect in the watch. Note that
those settings will not be transmitted to the watch through automatic synchronization.
2) To start 3D REC function
① Press and hold Button Ⓔ in any of the field mode displays. The REC function start display ("REC HOLd") appears.
※If "- - - -" is shown as the measurement is halted in the Altimeter, Barometer/Thermometer or Compass
mode, press Button Ⓔ to resume measurement, and then, press and hold Button Ⓔ.
② Press and hold Button Ⓔ further, and Bluetooth connection attempt is started. If the watch is
successfully connected with the application, "REC on" appears, and the recording of data is started.
Then, the maximum recording time you have set is shown, and the display returns to the one shown
before the start of this procedure.
※Each letter of "REC" lights up in order (3D SHORT), or "REC" flashes (3D LONG) to indicate that the
function is in operation.
③ If Bluetooth connection fails, "RETRY" appears. To try Bluetooth connection again, pressing Button
Ⓔ restarts the connection attempt. To cancel this procedure without retrying, press Button Ⓐ to
return to the display shown before the start of this procedure, or press Button Ⓑ to return to the
Time/Calendar display.
