The Field Mode REC function records changes in altitude, location, weather, etc. during a trip. The

data recorded is stored as a "field log" in the application, and can be checked in a 3D or 2D graph

format. The function can be turned on and off in any of the field modes (Weather, Altitude, Barometer/

Thermometer, and Compass modes).

※To use the Field Mode REC function, it is necessary to take, with the watch, a smartphone installed with the

exclusive application, and to keep the application running.

※While the Field Mode REC function is activated, all the functions of the watch and field modes can be used as

usual without any restriction.

・Following two types of recording functions are available in using the Field Mode REC function.

1) 3D REC function

When the 3D REC function is started, Bluetooth communication is performed, and the application

records the location information while the watch records the altitude. When the 3D REC function

is stopped, Bluetooth communication is performed, and the altitude log recorded by the watch is

transmitted to the application automatically. The field log can be displayed in the application in

either a 3D or 2D graph format as desired.

2) ALTI REC function

When the ALTI REC function is started, Bluetooth communication is not performed, and only the

watch records the altitude. When the REC function is stopped, the altitude log is transmitted

to the application manually, and the field log can be displayed in a 2D graph format only. The

ALTI REC function is useful as a backup of the 3D REC function in such cases as when it is not

available due to the small amount of power reserve in the smartphone.

・While the 3D REC function is in use, the time, altitude, location, weather and other data of a given location during

a trip can be recorded in the field log by operating a watch button to designate the location as a "log point." Log

point can be designated in any watch or field mode display.
