Command Line Interface (CLI)

9.2.1 CLI Menu System – Parallel Functionality
The CLI allows you to change operating parameters in a manner similar to that of monitor,
configure and control functions using the Web browser menus. See Chapter 8.
9.2.2 CLI Menu – Common Information, Navigation, Operation Features
With some exceptions, the screen examples in this chapter use these standards:
Menu Options/Fields

Typically, once any mnemonic is entered, you are prompted to type in a functional selection, an
alphanumeric configuration string, or an operational value. This prompt shows at the bottom of
the active screen. It is a selection choice and/or a blank prompt (a solid bar), as shown in this
example:
If a parameter is rejected for any reason, an error shows at the top of the screen, along with an
explanation:
TRANSEC Module SSH CLI Operation
Entry
Typically found in the body of the screen.
[RO]
This means the field is a read-only status/informational message. No
user action is required for this item.
Found at the bottom of the screen.
L
Allows you to log out of the SSH session.
Found at the bottom of the screen.
X
Allows you to exit the current menu and return to the parent menu.
Alternately, press the Esc key to do the same action.
