DEFAULT: During initialization (boot up), the modem will restore the
DEFAULT
web setting to the standard IP Mask and addresses supplied by the
NON-VOL
modem. The modem will be taken off the network and will not be
BOOTP
accessible. The Default settings are:

NON-VOL: Stores and uses IP Mask and addresses as provided by
the user.
BOOTP: During initialization (boot up), the modem will get the
names, masks, and IP Addresses of the modem, router, and server.
IP TEST: The IP Test boot mode has a behavior similar to the default
boot mode. The Terminal, IP, SNMP, FTP and Web parameters
changed by the default setting are reset by the IP Test boot more as
well. It stores and uses IP Mask and addresses to fixed settings as
listed below.

The IP Address Mask of the local network is expressed in a
hexadecimal format, and must be a valid TCP/IP Mask. This field
should be set before changes are made to the Modem or Router
Address.
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
The IP Address of the modem must be consistent for the mask
defined. This address is expressed in hexadecimal format.
Broadcast and loop back addresses are not allowed. These are
addresses with all subnet bits set to 0's or 1's.
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
The IP Address of the Local Network Router. If a router is present on
the local network, this address must be consistent with the IP Mask
and the subnet of the modem. If no router is present, then the
address must be set to a foreign address. This address is expressed
in hexadecimal format. Broadcast and loop back addresses are not
allowed. These are addresses with all subnet bits set to 0's or 1's.
