Dual Channel or Dual Path units. The DC current input ranges from a zero level of 4 mA to a full scale
of 20 mA. The [Analog Input Setup] menu cell allows you to enable this port and then span it to any
desired scaling.
For example, when using the analog input Aux function, assigned numeric variables for temperature
monitoring might be spanned as follows: 4mA=1 (32ºF) and 20mA=100 (212ºF). Temperature data
sent to the Aux 1 input port will feed-through the flowmeter and report the scaling data to the datalogger.
Note that although the flow computer receives these signals, the standard operating system will not
use them as a variable in any of its operations. The analog input ports only act as a convenient "feed-
through" to add data to Datalogger reports. Also note that there will be no units shown next to the output
data. Therefore, be aware of the appropriate units when entering scaling data and when viewing the
resultant output on a Datalogger report.
NOTE: Refer to the Installation Drawings or I/O Module markings for the locations of these
inputs and wiring procedures.

Setting up the Analog Current Input

The first step is to enable the input port.
From Analog Input Setup:
Access the [Iin or Vin] option list by pressing
Move the cursor down to [Aux (n)] by pressing
This enables the port to receive an input current. The cursor moves to [4 mA or 0 V].
To enable numeric entry press
Type the numeric value corresponding to 4 mA or 0 V input signal.

THE DIAGNOSTICS DATA MENU

Some Diagnostic Data items require a successful transducer installation and meter initialization to
become available. These will report [Chan Not Setup] until you complete the installation procedure.
The Diagnostics Data menu provides real-time application and setup data, plus test routines for the
selected channel. To receive the best technical support, please be prepared to report any diagnostic
