NOTE: Remove the hatch trim panel (see page 20-63).

Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
NOTE:
. Grease the hatch latch.
. M a k e s u r e t h e h a t c h o p e n s p r o p e r l y a n d l o c k s
securely.

Make sure the cylinder rod is connected properly.
Replacement
CAUTION: Wear gloves to remove and inslall the wind-
shield wiper linkage.
NOTE: Take care not to scratch the hood and body.

R e m o v e t h e w i n d s h i e l d w i p e r a r m s , t h e n r e m o v e
the hood seal and cowl cover.

Disconnect the connector, then
