Remove the compressor clutch
relay, and test it (see page 22-18)-
Check the under-hood fuse/relay
box:
Measure the voltage between the
No. 3 terminal of the compressor
clutch relay 4P socket and body
ground.
ls there battery voltage?
Check tho compr*sor clutchl
Connect the No. 1 and No. 3 termi'
nals otthe compressor clutch relay
4P socket with a iumoer wire.
Does the comoressor clutch click?
Check lor.n opon in the wir€:
1. Disconnect the jlmper wire.
2 . D i s c o n n e c t t h e c o m p r e s s o r
clutch 1P connector.
3. Check for continuity between
the No. 1 terminal of the com-
pressor clutch relay 4P socket
and the terminal of the com
pressor clutch 1P connector,
