Troubleshooting
The SRS Indicator Light Doesn't Go Off - ,9g Model
CAUTION: Whenever the ignition switch is ON fll), or
has been turned OFF for less than three minutes, be
careful not to bump the SRS unit; the airbags could
accidentally deploy and cause damage or iniuries.
SRS MAIN HARNESS

No. 23 {10 A} FUSE
FUSE/RELAY BOX
SRS MAIN HARNESS 18P CONNECTOR
Try to reproduce the SRS indicator light:
1. Erase the DTC memory (see page 24-15).
2. Turn the ignition switch ON (ll), and check that the SRS
indicator light comes on for about six seconos ano ooes
off.

check the No. 23 {10 Alfuse:
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Check tor blown No. 23 (10 A) tuse in the under-dash
Replace the fuse, and erass the memory

2. Erase the DTC memory (see page 24,1S).
3. Turn the ignition switch ON (ll).
Does th6 SRS indicstor light qo off after six seconds?
Check lor an oDen in the SRS main h.rn6ss [vB line):
1. Disconnect the batterv negative cable, then disconnect
the positive cable, and wait for three minutes.
2. Disconnect the driver's (and front passenger's) airbag
connectorls) (see page 24'11).
3. Disconnect the SRS main harness 18P connector lrom
the sRS unir.
4. Reconnect the batterv positive cable, then reconnect the
negative cable.
5. Connect a voltmeter between the No. 3 terminal (+) of
the SRS main harness '18P connector and oround.
6. Turn the isnition switch ON (il).
