Check Ior a short in the wite(s):
1. Remove the center dashboard
lower cover (see section 20),
and disconned the heater con
trol panel 14P connector'
2. Check for conlinuity between
the No. 12 and No 13 termi-
nals and body ground individ
R6air short in the wilo(a) bstween
the r€drculaiion conttol motor rnd
tfte heater control Panel.
Check for a short io powar:
Check the same wires for voltage
Repair short to Powsr in the wir€
between the recirculstion control
motor and tho heator control
penel. lThis short damages the
h6ater control pan6l'l
Check lor an opon in tho wire{s}:
Check for continuity between the
tollowing terminals of the recircu
lation control motor 4P connector
and the heater control Panel 14P

Repair open in the wire(sl
between the recitculation comrol
motor and lhe heeter conttol
oanel.
Check for loose wiles or Poor
connections at the heater control
oanel l,lP connector. ll tha con-
nections are good, replace the
heater control Panel.
