Determine boot device sequence.
No boot image located.
Scan SCSI bus for attached devices.
Default catch
Setup PHB BARC addresses.
Initialize PHB registers and PHB's PCI
configuration registers.
Look for PCI to ISA bridge.
Setup ISA bridge, PCI config. registers
and initialize
Check for 50 MHz device on PCI bus in
slots 1P and 2P.
Action/ Possible Failing FRU
Go to "MAP 1540: Minimum
Configuration" on page 50.
Modify the boot sequence (also known
as boot list) to include devices that are
known to contain a copy of the
operating system. This can be
accomplished by using the system
management services menus. For
example, select a hard disk known to
have a copy of the operating system as
the first and only device in the boot
sequence (boot list) and attempt to boot
again.
Go to "MAP 1540: Minimum
Configuration" on page 50.
The operator panel will alternate
between the code E1FD and another
Exxx code, where Exxx is the point at
which the error occurred. If the Exxx is
not listed in this table, go to "MAP 1540:
Minimum Configuration" on page 50.
