This test checks that all NEs can be synchronized using the line
timing function. In the test procedure a protected ring configuration
will be used as example. However, the described procedure is in
principle also valid for other network topologies.
To be able to carry out this test all NEs with the exception of NE-A
must be prepared/provisioned for the line timing functionality (e.g.
port provisioning). The needed information for performing this step is
given in the " LambdaUnite
Operations Guide".
