The following example shows how to enable shared-backplane uplink mode:
Switch(config)# hw-module uplink mode shared-backplane
A reload of the active supervisor is required to apply the new configuration.
Switch(config)# exit

The following example shows how to disable shared-backplane uplink mode:
Switch(config)# no hw-module uplink mode shared-backplane
A reload of the active supervisor is required to apply the new configuration.
Switch(config)# exit
Switch#
The following example shows how to display the current state of uplink-mode:
Switch# show hw-module uplink
Active uplink mode configuration is Default
(will be Shared-backplane after next reload)
A reload of active supervisor is required to apply the new configuration.
