6.5 Alarm Detection

Acceleration and deceleration times are set too

Reduce the load.
Increase the acceleration and deceleration times (C1-01 through C1-08).
Check the machine.
Check the settings of parameters F1-10 and F1-11.
Ensure the brake releases properly.

Check the operation sequence.
E5 MECHATROLINK Watchdog Timer Error
Issue a DISCONNECT or ALM_CLR command, followed by a CONNECT or
SYNC_SET command and move to phase 3.
Forward/Reverse Run Command Input Error

Both forward run and reverse run closed simultaneously for over 0.5 s.
Check the forward and reverse command sequence and correct the problem.
Note: Motor ramps to stop when minor fault EF is detected.

• Remove the cause of the external fault.
• Remove the external fault input from the PLC.
Check the PLC program and correct problems.
