3. ADSL Facility Commands

ED-PROFILE-ADSLDN

The ED-PROFILE-ADSLDN command enables you to edit ADSL line configuration
parameters for the downstream direction (from ATU-C to ATU-R) in an ADSL
Profile. See
new ADSL profile.

If, in less than 2 seconds, a normal or error response cannot be sent, the following
acknowledgment response is sent:

RESTRICTIONS: All parameters in this command are position-defined.
[tid]
Identification of the target NE. TID is optional and has a default value of
null. The NE's SID code is the only other valid value.
adsl_profile_id
Numeric identifier of a profile (1 30).
[ctag]
Correlation tag (6 characters maximum) that links an input command
with associated output responses. The default is 0.
[adslprof_nblk]
ADSL parameter block containing one or more of the following named
parameters (separated by commas):
TNMR: Target noise margin (3 14 dB). Default is 4 dB.
MAXFBR: Maximum fast-channel bit rate in kilobits per second
(32 2176). The default is 2176. Range and default vary per model.
MINFBR: Minimum fast-channel bit rate in kilobits per second (32). The
default is 32. Range and default vary per model.
RAMODE: Rate adaptive mode. Valid value is AT_RUN (Automatically
selected at run time).
PFBR: Planned fast channel bit rate in kilobits per second (32 2176).
The default is 32.
If not specified, the values of these parameters remain unchanged.
